The Spin

Narrative A

The Epstein files release has been a catastrophic failure of basic competence and victim protection. Authorities botched redactions so badly that names can be unredacted in Notepad, exposed survivors' identities while heavily redacting co-conspirators' information, and never even bothered to meet with victims before releasing documents that retraumatized them.

Narrative B

The Epstein files contain nothing of real substance beyond proving one pervert existed and rich people knew him. Despite conspiracy theories about cover-ups and hit squads, the files show zero evidence of a broader child-sex ring, just guilt by association with a guy who was good at money management and influence peddling.
