The Spin

Establishment-critical narrative

This is a culture-war stunt masked as health policy. Medical guidelines don't support universal testosterone testing, and the military's own labs may not even have the capacity for it. This is about projecting a masculine image, not building a more lethal fighting force.

Pro-establishment narrative

Military service wrecks hormonal health through sleep deprivation, blast exposure and sustained stress — and low testosterone quietly degrades muscle, cognition, mood and recovery. Screening means catching a treatable readiness problem before it sidelines a warfighter.
