The Spin

Establishment-critical narrative

Gran Grif's massacre of over 70 civilians in Jean-Denis — burning homes and executing families — proves Haiti has collapsed into gang-controlled terror. The international response has been a disgrace: a promised suppression force that doesn't exist, drone strikes killing children and a population left completely abandoned. Every day without decisive action is a death sentence for ordinary Haitians.

Pro-establishment narrative

The Gang Suppression Force is exactly the bold, coordinated answer Haiti's crisis demands — a 5,550-strong multinational force built to dismantle armed groups, secure infrastructure and protect civilians. Gangs controlling 90% of Port-au-Prince and displacing over 1.4 million people isn't a local problem, it's a regional emergency requiring international resolve. The GSF, backed by the U.N. Security Council, is the only credible path to restoring order.
