UK: YouGov to Publish Nationwide Polling Data After Reform Row

Is Reform's slump in support a cross-pollster reality or is YouGov's methodology distorting the picture?

The Spin

Left narrative

With multiple pollsters showing Reform's support sliding, Farage's attack on YouGov is nothing more than a desperate deflection. BMG Research has Reform down five points, Survation shows a two-point dip and Find Out Now nearly mirrors YouGov's numbers. Blaming one pollster when the trend is consistent shows denial over the party's waning popularity.

Right narrative

YouGov has shown lower Reform numbers than other pollsters for months, raising legitimate questions about whether its adjustments reflect reality. While there is no question that Reform must be wary of maintaining its polling lead amid a fractured political landscape, when a pollster's numbers diverge that persistently from the field, the methodology deserves scrutiny.
