The Spin

Narrative A

Unapproved retatrutide sold by shady medical spas and fake research labs is a genuine public health crisis, and Lilly is right to go after every compounding pharmacy and online seller pushing this junk on vulnerable people. These black-market products come from unregulated foreign manufacturers with zero oversight, and calling them medicine is a flat-out lie.

Narrative B

This lawsuit just proves that this product actually works, and now Big Pharma wants to shut down the competition to protect its own profits. This is about a $700 billion company that ignored a 14,000-listing black market for years and only acted once sales got cannibalized. If safety was the real concern, verification systems would have existed long ago.
