The Spin

Establishment-critical narrative

These airlines willingly participated in the terrorist activities of the U.S. by suspending their operations based on illegitimate warnings from the FAA, an entity with no jurisdiction over Venezuelan airspace, to strangle Venezuela’s economy. This coordinated attack warranted decisive action, which Venezuela has delivered.

Pro-establishment narrative

Airlines have made a responsible decision by temporarily suspending flights in light of the FAA’s warning about potential risks to their passengers and crews. Venezuela’s revocation of the airlines’ flight clearances, therefore, is an act of economic self-harm that isolates the country even further from global aviation networks.
