The Spin

Pro-Ukraine narrative

As part of a successful Ukrainian operation, long-range drones have struck Russia's Marinovka airfield and destroyed or damaged a number of Russian planes used to launch attacks on Ukrainian positions and civilian areas. This attack reduces that capability.

Pro-Russia narrative

Russia's air defenses shot down a total of 39 Ukrainian drones on Friday, including 19 over Rostov, 13 over Volgograd, four over Crimea and one in each of the Belgorod, Bryansk and Samara regions. While there were temporary restrictions at airports, there were no reports of damage or casualties.
