With the help of Elon Musk and his so-called Department of Government Efficiency, the Trump administration has further pushed the country to the brink of a painful economic downturn. As if new tariffs and mass deportations were not enough trouble, hundreds of thousands of skilled workers have been put out of work.
Republican narrative
Federal government workers may find a sudden shift to the private sector or other government roles daunting, but these job cuts will prove to be the best thing for the country in the long run. It's no coincidence that previous federal government layoffs resulted in the creation of millions of jobs. America is finally back on track to be great again.
