The Spin

Establishment-critical narrative

An alleged coding error in a website that hasn't been updated for years is too convenient, particularly as the missing content was related to constitutional provisions that have been obstacles to Trump. If this was the result of technical incompetence, the Library of Congress should have shown the update history.

Pro-establishment narrative

The simplest explanation is most often the correct one — in this case it's prudent to accept that technical issues can happen. After all, removing content from a government website is obviously not equivalent to an attempt to Constitution.
