The partnership with Britain will enhance Taiwan's communication infrastructure, making the country more resilient in the face of growing Chinese threats and militarization.
Though some in the West find it a good idea to insult Chinese sovereignty by meeting with Taiwanese officials, 75% of Europeans believe they should remain neutral in a potential military conflict between Beijing and Washington. Not only will choosing to remain at the beck and call of the US leave Europe economically worse off, but it will also make Europe vulnerable should a war break out. There are no good reasons to antagonize China and the evidence unequivocally proves this.
