Former Philippine Pres. Rodrigo Duterte was arrested at Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Tuesday morning upon his return from Hong Kong after the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued a warrant for his arrest.
The ICC's investigation covers alleged crimes against humanity committed during Duterte's anti-drug campaign from November 2011 to March 2019, during which an estimated 12K to 30K civilians were killed according to. theICC.
