Third Trump Lawyer Pleads Guilty in Georgia Case

The Facts
Former Trump legal advisor Jenna Ellis pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting false statements and writings on Tuesday morning, becoming the fourth co-defendant in the Georgia 2020 election case to accept a plea agreement with Fulton County prosecutors.
In exchange for avoiding a jail term, she agreed to a five-year probation sentence that includes a $5K restitution, 100 hours of community service, and a letter of apology to Georgia's residents — a deal similar to that struck with fellow Trump lawyer, Kenneth Chesebro, last week.
The 38-year-old will also have to fully cooperate with prosecutors and testify against co-defendants in the election interference case. Until the conclusion of all these ongoing cases, she isn't allowed to post anything about her own case on social media.
