States earned the right after Dobbs to set their own abortion policy, and blue states mailing pills past those borders are nullifying laws passed by voters in Louisiana, Alabama and Arkansas. Shipping powerful drugs to women sight unseen, with no exam and no accountability, is not health care — it's a pipeline that puts women at risk. Equal sovereignty means no state gets to write the rules for every other one.
Shield laws exist because doctors in New York, California and Massachusetts shouldn't face prison for care that's perfectly legal where they practice. Gutting them would let a handful of banned states export their policy nationwide, subpoena private medical records and eventually reach patients, funds and volunteers too. The real target here was never states' rights — it's a nationwide ban through the back door.
