Taxpayers shouldn't be paying premiums for people who don't exist. Canceling about 315,000 bogus enrollments saves roughly $2.2 billion and shuts down brokers who got rich inventing fake applicants with no Social Security numbers, no insurer contact, no premium payments and no claims. Anyone legitimate who got caught up can verify and be reinstated with one phone call.
Health care is a human right, and stripping coverage from hundreds of thousands of people under a convenient "fraud" label is just the latest step after gutting Medicaid and letting premiums spike. Real families will get sick, skip treatment and drown in medical debt because of this. Losing coverage isn't an accident here — it's the whole point.
