Twenty-three people have died in U.S. immigration custody this year alone, and that demands real accountability, not silence. Deporting people to places like Haiti where they face irreparable harm, skipping due process on third-country removals and now arming agents with electric shock gloves adds up to a system that treats human dignity as optional. Basic rights don't stop at the detention center door.
Suddenly the U.N. discovers deaths in ICE custody, but the numbers were nearly identical under Obama and Biden once adjusted for how many people were detained, and no inquiry was demanded then. That selective outrage, aimed at the United States while regimes like North Korea and Iran skate by, exposes a political agenda dressed up as human rights work. An organization this biased has no business headquartered in New York.
