The revised Tarrant County polling plan exceeds the state's statutory minimum by 54 locations, averages 1.56 miles between Election Day sites and prioritizes locations with the highest turnout from 2022 and 2024. The initial proposal was rightly sent back because it went too far, and the updated plan responsibly balances voter access with sound stewardship of taxpayer dollars. Every registered voter in Tarrant County will still have real, meaningful access to the ballot.
