Instead of cosmetic fixes, Meta has genuinelyover the years invested in teen safety tools, including mandatory time limits for users under 16 and Teen Accounts with protections on by default — these aren't cosmetic fixes. The "Take a Break" feature started with low adoption, but Meta kept iterating on it until protections became automatic, which is exactly how responsible product development works. Portraying that process as evidence of bad faith ignores real, documented progress.
