The fire at PIMS Hospital that killed 14 newborns demands more than grief — it demands justice. An immediate investigation has been ordered, and those responsible must face the strictest consequences possible. This tragedy is irreparable, and hollow condolences mean nothing without real accountability.
Ordering an inquiry is not accountability — newborns were burnt alive at Pakistan's biggest hospital, and that is shameful and unforgivable. Enough with izhaar-e-afsos and committee formations that go nowhere. Heads must roll immediately, and justice must be swift and unsparing for those whose negligence caused this unbearable tragedy.
