Musk's stepping back from DOGE makes sense — relentless attacks from radical leftists, including arson at Tesla dealerships, burned out someone who genuinely tried to cut wasteful government spending. DOGE stopped funding that made no sense and saved real money. The left's campaign of harassment, not any failure of mission, is what drove Musk away from public service.
