The Spin

Judges across the country are facing death threats, bomb scares and armed deputies at their doors — and it traces directly back to a pattern of political leaders branding courts as enemies. When 400 federal judges become targets of serious threats in a single year, a 78% jump in four years, that's not coincidence. Demonizing the judiciary doesn't just undermine democracy; it puts lives at risk.

The left's outrage over threats to judges rings hollow when a man armed with a pistol, zip ties and a crowbar flew across the country to assassinate three Supreme Court justices and got barely eight years. Chuck Schumer stood on the courthouse steps and told Kavanaugh he'd "pay the price" — and the media buried the story on page A20. Selective concern about judicial safety isn't principle; it's politics.
