The Vulnerability to Viability (V2V) Compact was launched June 23 in Vienna, bringing together 74 climate-vulnerable economies and more than a dozen multilateral development finance institutions to improve access to affordable financing.

The Vulnerability to Viability (V2V) Compact was launched June 23 in Vienna, bringing together 74 climate-vulnerable economies and more than a dozen multilateral development finance institutions to improve access to affordable financing.

The compact includes lenders ranging from the World Bank Group to the Vienna-based OPEC Fund for International Development, which has provided $17 billion in support to V20 countries over the past five decades.
