The Spin

Nvidia's RTX Spark superchip is the biggest reinvention of the PC in 40 years, pairing a Blackwell GPU with a custom ARM-based CPU and 128GB of unified memory to run AI agents locally. This isn't just a spec bump — it's a fundamental shift in what a personal computer can do, challenging Intel, AMD and Apple all at once. The PC market will never look the same.

RTX Spark laptops are priced at the premium end of the market, with no specific launch date or performance benchmarks shared to back up the bold claims. Qualcomm's stock tanked on the news, but without hard comparisons to Apple's M-series or Snapdragon chips, the hype outpaces the proof. Consumers deserve real numbers before buying into this so-called reinvention.
