The Spin

Wisconsin'sThis 20-point liberal landslide isnwasn't just a courtlandslide, winit was it's a five-alarm fire for the GOP nationally. Democrats swept urban, suburban and rural Wisconsin alike, flipped historically red Waukesha and posted a 56-point swing in Hispanic precincts, proving Trump's 2024 coalition has collapsed. With liberals locking in a 5-2 court majority through 2030 and beyond, Republican gerrymandering and election manipulation in Wisconsin are finished.

Taylor'sThis blowout loss says more about conservative campaign failures than a liberal wave — Lazar refused Trump's endorsement, ran a low-energy race and got crushed on spending 5-to-1. Low turnout, unfamiliar candidates and minimal outside investment made this race incomparable to 2023 and 2025. Until conservative candidates fight like partisans instead of philosophy professors, Wisconsin's court will keep drifting left and the GOP will keep handing liberals easy wins.
