Israel's Knesset made the right call passing the death penalty law for Palestinian terrorists — justice demands consequences for mass murder. The revolving door of terrorism ends here, and every would-be attacker now faces the ultimate deterrent. After the Oct. 7 massacre that killed some 1,200 people, anything less than the harshest punishment is a moral failure.
This law is a discriminatory death machine targeting Palestinians while shielding Jewish offenders from the same punishment — that's apartheid, plain and simple. Major democracies, UN experts and Israeli rights groups all agree it violates international law and the right to life. Dismissing over 2,000 objections to rush this through proves Israel isn't interested in justice — just vengeance.
