The White House Ballroom is a long-overdue upgrade that presidents have wanted for 150 years, and Trump is finally delivering it. At 90,000 square feet with a 650-person capacity, it dwarfs the cramped 200-person East Room and ends the embarrassment of hosting world leaders under a tent. Privately funded and ahead of schedule, this is exactly the kind of bold, beautiful investment the People's House deserves.
Demolishing a 120-year-old wing of the White House without congressional approval, environmental review or public input isn't bold leadership — it's lawless. Federal law explicitly bars erecting structures on public grounds without Congress's express authorization, and no president gets to bulldoze national landmarks on a whim. The ballroom project must be halted until proper legal reviews are completed.
