The ACIP meeting scheduled for March 18-19 in Atlanta was postponed following the ruling. The panel had been expected to discuss COVID-19 vaccine injuries, long COVID and the committee's recommendation methodology.

HHS spokesperson Andrew Nixon said the agency "looks forward to this judge's decision being overturned just like his other attempts to keep the Trump administration from governing." Attorneys for the plaintiffs said the dispute could ultimately reach the Supreme Court.
