The Spin

The Epstein files reveal crimes so systematic and widespread — sexual slavery, torture, trafficking across borders — that they meet the legal definition of crimes against humanity. Resignations aren't enough; every government must prosecute the wealthy and powerful perpetrators named in these documents. Moving on from this case means abandoning victims and allowing the rich to remain above the law.

Simply appearing in the Epstein files doesn't prove guilt or complicity in any crime. Epstein deliberately cultivated relationships with powerful people across the political spectrum, so his records naturally contain countless names. Crimes against humanity require proof of systematic attacks on civilians, not mere association with a criminal.
