Jeff Bezos and Will Lewis are systematically destroying the Washington Post through reckless cuts and poor leadership, abandoning the paper's core mission of accountability journalism. The Post survived 150 years by serving democracy, but these executives are gutting Sports, Books, International and Metro departments without any coherent vision while Bezos kowtows to Trump.
The Washington Post's financial crisis stems directly from years of liberal bias that alienated half the country, not from recent leadership changes. The paper became addicted to its left-wing audience and produced journalism that failed to resonate with readers, hemorrhaging subscribers because veteran journalists maintained terrible standards that destroyed trust.
