Bangladesh Protests Hasina's Delhi Speech, Warns India

The Spin

India's harboring of convicted mass murderer Sheikh Hasina and allowing her to incite violence from New Delhi directly violates bilateral extradition obligations and threatens Bangladesh's democratic transition. Hasina's public calls for terror attacks to derail upcoming elections constitute a blatant assault on sovereignty that sets a dangerous precedent for regional relations. India's refusal to extradite this fugitive while permitting hate speech on its soil demonstrates contempt for international norms and good neighborliness.

The February 2026 election represents a manufactured democratic facade orchestrated by an unconstitutional regime that has disenfranchised hundreds of thousands and silenced opposition voices. This staged vote excludes genuine pluralism and denies citizens real choice while the interim government colludes with external forces to overthrow Bangladesh's Constitution. Legitimizing this sham selection would endorse injustice rather than democracy.
