UK Probes SAS Over 54 Suspicious Afghan War Deaths

The Spin

British special forces committed systematic war crimes in Afghanistan, executing detainees and shooting children in their beds while senior commanders deliberately suppressed evidence and blocked investigations. The director of special forces knew about unlawful killings as early as 2011 but chose to cover them up rather than report them to military police, allowing murders to continue for years.

The inquiry's selective release of second-hand testimony from rival units reveals an agenda against the SAS rather than truth-seeking. These unsubstantiated claims come from inexperienced staff officers thousands of miles from combat who never witnessed events firsthand, while testimony defending the regiment's actions remains unpublished.
