Court Blocks Chicago Immigration Enforcement Restrictions

The Spin

Federal agents terrorized Chicago communities during Operation Midway Blitz, storming daycares and traumatizing children while dragging away teachers without warrants. These brutal raids targeted innocent immigrants and even U.S. citizens based solely on appearance, with less than 3% having any criminal record.

The appeals court rightfully blocked Chicago's overreaching restrictions on federal immigration enforcement, allowing ICE and Border Patrol to do their essential jobs. District judges massively overstepped by trying to micromanage law enforcement operations and essentially enjoining the entire Executive Branch.
