California's new congressional maps were drawn by an independent citizens' commission through a transparent, public process. Voters see through theseRepublicans' cynical tactics and won't be fooled anymore.

California's legislature passed race-based gerrymandered maps that violate the Constitution and disenfranchise 40% of the population. These illegal maps will taint upcoming elections if allowed to stand. States cannot draw congressional districts based on race, no matter what political party controls the process. The Trump DOJ is doing great work protecting Republicans living in mismanaged blue states.
