Police deployed approximately 300 officers, including 125 uniformed members and public order units from multiple counties. One female officer required medical treatment for a foot injury sustained during the violence.

Six individuals were arrested during the disturbances. Five men aged in their 40s and 50s were subsequently charged with public order offenses and appeared in court, while one woman was released without charge pending a review of the prosecution.

Garda Commissioner Justin Kelly, who visited the scene in the aftermath of the violence, stated: "This was obviously not a peaceful protest. The actions this evening can only be described as thuggery. This was a mob intent on violence against Gardaí."
