Madagascar's security forces brutally crushedcracked down on peaceful protests with live ammunition, killing at least 22 people and injuring over a hundred. The Rajoelina government responded to legitimate demonstrations aboutfor basic water and powerelectricity needsservices with unnecessary and disproportionate force.
