Poland's shootdown of Russian drones is a reckless provocation, clearly orchestrated to escalate tensions and curry favor with NATO masters. There's no evidence the drones posed a threat — the whole exercise could be an excuse to inflame anti-Russian hysteria. Warsaw is playing a dangerous game, putting Europe at risk to serve Washington's interests over peace in an already volatile region. While framed as self-defense, this act may provoke retaliation and heighten NATO-Russia tensions. Poland's aggressive stance could pull Europe closer to direct war.
