Independiente v Universidad de Chile Sudamericana clash abandoned after fan violence

A second-leg game in Copa Sudamericana round of 16 between Argentine side Independiente and Universidad de Chile, or La U, on Wednesday was abandoned in the 48th minute, with the latter leading 2-1 on aggregate, as rival fans clashed in the stands of Estadio Libertadores de America in Avellaneda, Buenos Aires province.
