Boeing St. Louis defense workers set to strike after rejecting latest offer
New York Post4 days
Boeing offered IAM workers a generous 40% average wage increase over four years, which addressed their concerns about alternative work schedules and provided substantial benefits, including vacation time and sick leave. The strike, however, will not substantially impact Boeing's operations as the company's contingencies will support customers during any work stoppage.
IAM workers deserve a contract from Boeing that truly recognises and rewards their skill, dedication, and critical role that they play in national defense, not empty promises and half measures. The IAM, therefore, will stand shoulder to shoulder with its members in their fight to secure a better future for themselves and their families in the battle against corporate greed.
