The Spin

The ICC warrants represent crucial accountability for the Taliban's systematic erasure of women from Afghan society. These leaders have created an unprecedented gender apartheid that violates basic human rights and international law. The court's recognition of LGBTQ+ persecution sets an important legal precedent for protecting vulnerable communities worldwide.

The ICC lacks legitimacy and jurisdiction over Afghanistan's sovereign government, which operates according to Islamic law and Afghan cultural values. This Western court ignores the Taliban's establishment of justice based on sharia while turning a blind eye to actual war crimes committed by foreign forces during decades of occupation.

This ICC action demonstrates Western hostility toward Islamic governance and Afghan sovereignty. The Taliban has established justice based on sacred Islamic law, and labeling Sharia as oppressive shows clear bias against Muslim beliefs. Afghanistan's internal affairs should be decided by Afghans, not foreign courts with no jurisdiction.
