The FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ) have concluded that Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender, did not have an incriminating "client list" and said there was no evidence of him blackmailing powerful figures. The findings come from a two-page memo from the agencies first acquired and published by Axios before being reviewed by additional publications. Coming from the FBI Director Kash Patel and his deputy, Dan Bongino, who had been podcasters and MAGA influencers prior to joining President Donald Trump's administration, the pair have been under pressure from their base to make new disclosures about Epstein, alleged clients as well as his cause of death, with speculation swirling that he did not kill himself.

It said that security footage from the Special Housing Unit (SHU) of the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York —&nbsp;which was released in two forms —&nbsp;from 10:40 pm on Aug. 9, 2019, to around 6:30 a.m. the next day, showed no one entering or exiting the SHU where Epstein was being held.
