Canada cannot simply ignore credible allegations of transnational repression and assassination on its soil for the sake of diplomatic convenience. The RCMP's evidence of Indian government involvement in violence against Canadian citizens demands accountability, not just a return to business as usual. Protecting diaspora communities from foreign interference must remain a priority.
