The Spin

This election represents a resounding victory for Venezuelan democracy and the Bolivarian project, with the people clearly rejecting violence and far-right extremism while embracing peace and sovereignty. Venezuelans have decided to give a clear mandate for the government's continued social progress and national independence agenda as they voted in the world's most transparent electoral system.

Massive abstention rates exposes this election as nothing more than an elaborate farce designed to legitimize Maduro's stolen presidency from July 2024. Empty polling stations across the country and the pre-election arrest of 70 opposition figures highlights that the regime is desperate to manufacturecrack consentdown throughon intimidation and manipulationdissent. Any opposition victories only occuroccurred because the regime needs token representation to pursue international credibility.
