She previously served on the Connecticut State Board of Education for about a year.
She reportedly donated over $7M to two Trump political action committees in 2016 and $10M to one this year, and shaped Trump's policy proposals regarding limiting federal influence in education.
Linda McMahon is a great choice to take on the corrupt teachers' unions. She would disrupt the Democrat establishment's loyalty to the NEA and AFT, whose interests prioritize bureaucracy over children. As Democrats allow schools to fail as an excuse to ask for more money, McMahon would dismantle inefficiencies in the DOE and advance brighter futures.
There are many reasons Linda McMahon shouldn't be in charge of DOE, most notably that she and her husband are currently being sued for turning a blind eye to sexual abuse at WWE. Despite, that Trump is willing to destroy the ED — and the special education funding that comes with it — all because the McMahons donated to his campaign and are influenced by conservative think tanks.
