Who Will Win the 2024 US Presidential Election?

Both candidates will hold multiple rallies on the eve of Tuesday's US presidential election. Democratic Vice Pres. Kamala Harris will visit Pennsylvania on Monday, while Republican former Pres. Donald Trump is scheduled to travel to Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Michigan.

Speaking on Sunday at a rally in East Lansing, Mich., Harris pledged to "do everything in [her] power to end the war in Gaza," return US hostages, and ensure both Israeli security and Palestinian self-determination. Michigan has the highest proportional Arab population of any US state at 2.1%.

Harris also appeared on Saturday Night Live (SNL) over the weekend, with NBC consequently allowing Trump equivalent airtime (90 seconds) during NASCAR and NFL coverage to comply with Federal Communication Commission (FCC) rules.

Meanwhile, in a phone interview with NBC News, Trump said Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would have a "big role" in a prospective new administration, and that Kennedy's proposal to remove fluoride from US water "sounds okay." It was estimated that 62.9% of the US population had access to fluoridated water in 2020.

Trump also took heat for commenting on gaps in the protective glass in front of his speech podium, saying that someone "would have to shoot through the fake news" to "get" him, which he wouldn't "mind." His campaign spokesperson later said Trump wished no harm on the media.

According to FiveThirtyEight's national polling average, Harris currently leads Trump 47.9%-47%, with the pair effectively tied in Pennsylvania and Nevada; Harris up by about a point in Michigan and Wisconsin; and Trump up by about a point in North Carolina and Georgia.
