Kamala Harris is to visit Pennsylvania while Donald Trump is scheduled to attend Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Michigan as both candidates hold multiple rallies on the eve of the US Presidential Election.
Speaking a day prior at a rally in East Lansing, Michigan, Harris pledged to "do everything in [her] power to end the war in Gaza," return US hostages, as well as ensure both Israeli security and Palestinian self-determination as president. Michigan has the highest proportional Arab population of any US state at 2.1%.
Harris also appeared on Saturday Night Live (SNL) over the weekend, with NBC consequently having to allow Trump equivalent airtime (90 seconds) during NASCAR and NFL coverage in other to comply with Federal Communication Commission (FCC) regulation.
Although the Biden admin.'s ongoing policy towards Gaza, like many key issues, has left many angry and upset, a vote for alternative progressive candidates such as Jill Stein will only benefit Trump. Harris supports a ceasefire and a two-state solution, whilst Trump is renowned for his rampant history of Islamophobia. Tomorrow's election is a clear choice between unity and division – Trump's hate-fuelled politics cannot be allowed to win.
