A report from The Associated Press (AP) has claimed that an official transcript of a call by Pres. Joe Biden earlier this week had been altered by the White House press team without the consent of the administration's Stenography Office.
Biden had stated on call that "the only garbage" he saw was Trump's supporter's/supporters, with the White House claiming the President referred only to Tony Hinchcliffe, a comedian who described Puerto Rico as an "island of garbage" at a Trump rally, rather than all supporters of the Republican candidate.
The comment had been clarified by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who described Biden as a "president for all," while an official transcript of Pres. Biden's video call used "supporter's" instead of "supporters."
The White House's attempts to brush Biden's unpatriotic and divisive comments under the rug may very well be a federal crime and must be immediately investigated. Whilst House Republicans are already leading the charge to conclude whether the Biden admin. has violated the Presidential Records Act, Americans must take matters into their own hands and make sure the corrupt and dishonest Democrats are no longer in office.
In peak hypocrisy, Republicans who adamantly defended Hinchliffe's distasteful Puerto Rico comments are the first to jump on and twist Pres. Biden's words. While the President's remarks may well have been clumsy, they are nothing compared to the dangerous rhetoric Trump and his MAGA movement continue to spew against their fellow Americans when it suits them to do so.
