Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf has reported that American billionaire Bill Gates is being sued by seven plaintiffs in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, over claims that his promotion of the COVID vaccine led to injuries.
The lawsuit claims that through his involvement with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Economic Forum, Gates is liable for what the plaintiffs say are lies about the COVID jab being safe.
The Dutch site Zebra Inspiratie reported Gates filed to dismiss the case last month, arguing he didn't fall under the court's jurisdiction. However, the Oct. 16 court ruled that since Gates was part of an international group of defendants, he could be sued and he must pay the plaintiffs' legal fees.
