Bill Gates Says Elon Musk Should Focus On Mass Vaccination, Not Going To Mars

Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf has reported that American billionaire Bill Gates is being sued by seven plaintiffs in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, over claims that his promotion of the COVID vaccine led to injuries.

The lawsuit claims that through his involvement with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Economic Forum, Gates is liable for what they say are lies about the COVID jab being safe.

Dutch news site Zebra Inspiratie reported Gates filed to dismiss the case last month, arguing he didn't fall under the court's jurisdiction. However, the Oct. 16 court ruled that since Gates was part of an international group of defendants, he could be sued and he must pay the plaintiffs' legal fees.

An initial Sept. 18 hearing, which was covered by New Zealand-based journalist Penny Marie, reportedly included a statement from the father of one of the alleged injured plaintiffs. He spoke because his daughter was unable.

Gates, who reportedly did not attend that hearing, now has 14 days to pay the roughly €1.4K ($1.5K) fees and must respond to the allegations. The next court hearing is reportedly set for Nov. 27.
