Bill Gates Says Elon Musk Should Focus On Mass Vaccination, Not Going To Mars

According to the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, American billionaire Bill Gates is being sued by seven plaintiffs in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, over claims that his promotion of the COVID vaccine led to injuries.

The lawsuit claims that through his involvment with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Economic Forum, Gates is liable for what they say are lies about the COVID being safe.

According to the Dutch news site Zebra Inspiratie, Gates filed to dismiss the case last month, arguing that he didn't fall under the court's jurisdiction. However, the court ruled on Oct. 16 that since Gates was part of an international group of defendants, he could be sued, ordering him to pay the plaintiffs' legal fees.

The initial Sept. 18 hearing, which was covered by New Zealand-based journalist Penny Marie, reportedly included a statement from the father of one of the alleged vaccine injured plaintiffs. He spoke as his daughter was unable.

Gates, who reportedly did not attend the Sept. 18 hearing, now has 14 days to pay the roughly €1.4K ($1.5K) fees and must respond to the allegations. The next court hearing is reportedly set for Nov. 27.
