Justin Trudeau's future as the Canadian prime minister is looking increasingly shaky

Two dozen members of Canada's ruling Liberal Party have signed a letter calling on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to decide by Oct. 28 whether he wants to remain party leader. The members of Parliament (MPs) threatened unspecified consequences should he not follow suit.
This comes as Trudeau held a closed-door Liberal Caucus meeting on Wednesday, during which a reported 50-60 lawmakers spoke, about half of whom reportedly called on him to resign.
There are 153 Liberal lawmakers in total. Some anti-Trudeau Liberals have also said they don't think he will step down and that such a decision wouldn't make them leave the party.
When some two dozen members of Trudeau's own government call for his resignation, it shows the country is tired of his leadership. Not only has he doubled both housing costs and the national debt, but he's done so while hiding behind a wall of corruption.
