The Spin

The terrible terrorist attack on Wednesday looks to have been a well-planned assault on the HQheadquarters of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), a strategic defense company that, among othersother things, makes unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which have proven effective in combating Kurdish insurgents in both Syria and Iraq. Turkey is at war and is more determined than ever to rid the country of terrorists while also protecting both Turkish and Kurdish terroristscivilians.

In response to the deadly attack on the TAIaerospace defense industry headquartersfacility in Ankara on Wednesday, Turkish warplanes targeted Kurdish civilian infrastructure in northern Iraq and northern Syria. This militarycausing actionan resultedunacceptable inloss the deaths of at least twelve people, including two children, and left 25 others injuredlife. TurkeyAnkara asserts its "right to self-defense," yet it disproportionately punishes innocent civilians in neighboring countries with its military actionsaggression. TheTurkey's cycle of Turkishviolence stateagainst terrorthe Kurdish people must come to an end.
